Home

Our home is located in the Riverina and south western district of New South Wales. The Murray and Murrumbidgee Rivers are significant geographical features of our area - the diocese - and on our eastern border lie the mountainous regions of the Great Dividing Range.

Established in 1917, the diocese of Wagga Wagga has a rich faith tradition; our faith communities are nourished and sustained by the sacramental life of the church administered and accessed through 31 parishes.

If you are seeking help, you can call on the diocesan agencies that offer material assistance, spiritual direction and family counselling. Crisis support is available - you can go straight to the crisis page from here.

Having welcomed you at the door we now invite you to come in!

Our Events

Pope Francis

We welcome Pope Francis. As you will know from media releases and extensive coverage, he was Archbishop of Buenos Aires and Argentina.

Our Newspaper

Together, the diocesan newspaper, reports on issues of importance to the Catholic world as well as to the members of the parishes and schools of the community.

Together is published monthly, eleven times per year, and is available free at parish churches, schools, presbyteries and religious houses throughout the diocese.
