Basic Accreditation Correspondence Training - ALL MODULES
ALL TRAINING MODULES AVAILABLE HERE
In order to comply with the agreement with the NSW DoE, SRE volunteers
are required to undertake Basic Accreditation training and ongoing
training in classroom management and child protection issues.
The five Basic Accreditation modules are to be completed within six
months of authorisation, with the requirement that one module be
submitted per month. Should a volunteer require an extension for a module
they need to contact the Diocesan Catechist Coordinator prior to the due
date. Each module should take approximately 1-1½ hours to
To complete the correspondence training you will need to download the
reading material and the response sheet that accompanies that topic. The
response sheet needs to be posted to Victoria Kirley at 16 Ash Street,
Leeton NSW 2705 when completed.
Mandatory child protection training is held every even year, eg 2016,
2018. All SRE volunteers are required to participate in this training.
SRE volunteers are required to update in classroom management skills
every two years. Training is held in each deanery.
